Delaying Isha Prayer and Women Going to Mosque

Narrated Aishah (RA): Once Allah's Messenger (PBUH) delayed the Isha prayer till Umar informed him that the women and children had slept. The Prophet (PBUH) came out and said; None except were waiting for this Salat (prayer). In those days, none offered Salat except the people of Al-Madina and they used to offer the Isha prayer between the disappearance of the twilight and the first third of the night.
