Introduction

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) highlighted not only the necessity of participating in the Jumuah prayer but also the importance of observing proper behaviors and manners during this sacred time.

Some of these essential etiquettes include keeping oneself clean and being mindful not to engage in actions that could disturb or disrespect other Muslims. 

To further emphasize these points, two authentic Hadiths from Sahih al-Bukhari provide valuable insights into these practices.

Narrated Ibn Juraij:  The Prophet (PBUH) then said

I heard Nafi saying, Ibn Umar (RA): said, The Prophet (PBUH) forbade that a man should make another man to get up to sit in his place. 

I said to Nafi, Is it for Jumuah (prayer) only? He replied, For Jumuah (prayer) and also for any other (prayer).

Lessons from These Hadiths

Respect for Others: It's important not to push anyone out of their seat in the mosque. Remember, everyone stands equal in the eyes of Allah, and every individual deserves to be treated with respect.

Cleanliness as Part of Faith: Islam emphasizes the importance of being physically clean as it relates to being spiritually pure, particularly on Jumuah.

Community Harmony: Observing these guidelines is essential for fostering harmony, affection, and togetherness among Muslims during Friday prayers.

Preparation for Worship: As we get ready to open our hearts with thoughtfulness and grace, it's equally important that we take care of our bodies by keeping them clean.
