Reciting Mufassal Surahs in Salah

Narrated Abu Wail: A man came to Ibn Masud (RA.) and said, I recited the Mufassal (Surah) at night in one Rak'a. Ibn Masud said, This recitation is (too quick) like the recitation of poetry. I know the identical Surah which the Prophet (PBUH) used to recite in pairs. Ibn Masud then mentioned 20 Mufassal Surah including two Surah from the family of (those Surah which begin with) Ha-mim (which the Prophet (PBUH) used to recite) in each Rak'a.
